4–7PM
BOOKS WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU PRESENTED BOOKLEGGERS LIBRARY
Make a collage channeling your teenage self using vintage teenybopper magazines and Saudade County Press, then take it to Mama Tried Miami for a free drink.

6–6:30PM
TURTLE GRENADE, MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
Folk-ish lo-fi indie punk music from Miami.

6:30–7PM
CIÉNAGA, MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
Ciénaga is the alias of Puerto Rican artist José Iván Lebrón Moreira, adopted for his new album, Isla Eterna, which was made during the months after hurricanes Irma and María. The album samples wind and rain, generators and radio transmissions, mixing home and field recordings made during the second longest recorded blackout in history.

ALL DAY

NO ESCAPE HOLE
An online exhibition from Mana Contemporary’s New Media Residents in Chicago and New Jersey, which exists on the Mana Contemporary website, and features videos, interactive works, images, and essays by Mana Chicago New Media Program residents Cat Bluemke, Jenna Boyles, Minsun Cho, Morgan Green, and Joo Young Lee, along with artists Hayeon Hwang, Tiri Kananuruk, Sebastian Morales, Michael Simpson, Yeseul Song, and David Temchulla from their sister residency in Jersey City. The show’s title suggests that digital technologies do not offer an escape from the “real world”; that IRL and URL are contiguous.
